The present invention relates to a method of automatically configuring environments of home appliances of a consumer in a home energy management system to minimize inconvenience where a user inputs consumption power information and types of home appliances in a first configuration and registration process when an energy management system is used by a consumer. The method includes: a step of transmitting total consumption power information of a consumer to a server of a supplier by a first home gateway; a step of transmitting to a data processing model by a server interface; a step of analyzing consumption power information to classify by a unique value and transmit to a database having a unique value list for each home appliance; and a step of comparing unique value information to extract a home appliance list and a candidate list of a consumer to transmit the home appliance list and candidate list to a server interface and transmit a verification message to a user via a gateway by the server interface.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
