The present invention relates to a portable probe for photoacoustic tomography, capable of performing line-by-line scanning or area-by-area scanning by using a small number of light inputs, and a real-time photoacoustic tomography apparatus. According to one aspect of the present invention, the probe for the photoacoustic tomography includes: a lens for receiving a light input from an optical fiber to allow the received light input to proceed as a small-diameter parallel light; a Powell lens for receiving the small-diameter parallel light to generate a line beam having a predetermined thickness while allowing energy distributed on a line to be uniform over an entire line; a lens for transmitting the line beam therethrough to line-focus the line beam having a predetermined width and a reduced thickness at a target area; an acoustic reflection glass for separating an acoustic wave, which is outputted from the target area, from a light path; and an acoustic measurement unit for finally measuring acoustic strength.
