Automated guided vehicle system based on switch direction and a method for controlling the same

Disclosed are a direction switching system of an automated guided vehicle and a control method thereof. Since rotation of the automated guided vehicle always requires a space for rotation, an unnecessary space in setting a route of the automated guided vehicle is always generated. In order to prevent the unnecessary space from being generated, the automated guided vehicle of the present invention includes a wheel which becomes a shaft for in-place rotation with a smooth operation structure of the wheel.
