The present invention relates a seismic switchgear with an impact absorbing means having a protruding structure which attenuates an S wave and a P wave of an earthquake to promote safety of a switchgear. The seismic switchgear with an impact absorbing means having a protruding structure comprises: a switchgear; a variable frame which is installed between the base of a lower portion of the switchgear and a lower surface of the switchgear, and includes an upper plate made of a stiff member, and a lower plate arranged to face the upper plate below the upper plate and separated from the upper plate; and an impact absorbing module which is an impact absorbing member of an elastic material arranged between the upper plate and lower plate, and includes an upper and lower block joined to each other after being horizontally separated at a prescribed height, an insulation cushion inserted between the upper and lower block to attenuate vibration energy of the lower block changed by surrounding vibration to transfer attenuated vibration energy to the upper block, and a connector to connect a side of the upper block to a side of the lower block. Vertical vibration and horizontal vibration can be dissipated. A damage situation applied to the switchgear can be identified in real time in a situation such as an earthquake. The seismic switchgear has a means for investigating a damage situation applied to the switchgear by a power generation means of the switchgear, and can use an emergency reading light even if power is cut off by an emergency situation such as an earthquake.
