The present invention relates to a PTC lead tab for a lithium secondary battery with increased safety and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to flexible negative and positive electrode lead tabs having a PTC function, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. According to the present invention, the PTC lead tab for the lithium secondary battery has a flexible conductive polymer layer interposed between two softened copper foil layers so that the battery can be protected more safely from overcurrent and overheating in an environment having external shock and vibration.
