Disclosed is a sleep inducing bed, and an operating method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a sleep inducing bed, which comprises: a body frame disposed to fix a mattress; a driving unit inducing vibration from a lower portion of the mattress in the horizontal or the vertical direction with respect to the longitudinal direction of the mattress; and a floor fixing unit supporting the body frame. Moreover, the driving unit comprises: at least one rotating shaft formed and rotated in the lower portion of the mattress; a plurality of cam gears having a through-hole therein and rotationally coupled to the rotating shaft; and a fixing key formed long in the axial direction of the rotating shaft and formed between the through-hole and the rotating shaft.
