Disclosed is an insulation system of an independent tank type cargo tank. According to the present invention, the insulation system comprises: a leakage preventing barrier disposed at a corner of an outer wall of an independent tank, in which liquid cargo containing liquid natural gas is stored, to prevent leakage of the liquid cargo; and an insulating barrier disposed on the leakage preventing barrier, disposed at the corner, to insulate the liquid cargo. Moreover, the leakage preventing barrier adjacent to the corner of the outer wall and an insulating panel of the insulating barrier are provided in a plane shape rather than a curved shape in a cross-sectional view.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
