The present invention relates to a slot optical waveguide based liquid refractive index measurement sensor, and more specifically, relates to the sensor for measuring a refractive index change of a liquid material by utilizing a coupling phenomenon between optical waveguides. According to the slot optical waveguide based liquid refractive index measurement sensor of the present invention, it is possible to accurately measure the refractive index change of a liquid material according to a change in concentration of the liquid material such as blood glucose and saliva, thereby providing excellent sensitivity. Further, according to the slot optical waveguide based liquid refractive index measurement sensor of the present invention, since silicon is used as a material of the optical waveguide and the slot optical waveguide, a micro liquid refractive index measurement sensor can be manufactured and repeated reuse can be achieved.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
