Depth Image Estimation Method based on Multi-View Camera

Provided is a depth image estimation method based on a multi-view camera. The depth image estimation method comprises the following steps of: converting multi-view images into a virtual view; estimating a depth image by using the converted multi-view images; and generating multi-view depth images by using the estimated depth image. Therefore, according to an embodiment of the present invention, although the depth estimation technique based on a multi-view image is highly complex, the high quality depth image using about 20 high resolution images can be obtained in real time.
