According to the present invention, a system for managing elderly person′s whereabouts performs big data management of elderly person′s whereabouts by using a conventional walking stick. A plurality of walking stick whereabouts data collection terminals collect big data information of elderly person′s whereabouts. A data management center analyzes the big data information of elderly person′s whereabouts and obtains regular whereabouts of the elderly person. Accordingly, the system for managing elderly person′s whereabouts can provide a service to an elderly person in an effective manner. In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a thin and short umbrella, rather than a foldable umbrella having multiple folding joints, is formed by storing one shaft of an umbrella in a length of fabric by changing a structure of the conventional walking stick as stated above. Therefore, the umbrella can be stored in a walking stick in an easy manner. Accordingly, the elderly person can make good use of the walking stick by using a function extended from the structure of a conventional walking stick.
