The present invention relates to a gas combustion device for a sacred fire holder and a sacred fire holder provided with the gas combustion device. A gas nozzle body is disposed in a nozzle housing body open upwards. The gas nozzle body is provided at the upper end of a main rod body for combustion so that a gas fuel is supplied thereinto from the main rod body for combustion. A plurality of main injection holes are provided in the upper surface of the gas nozzle body so that the inwardly supplied gas fuel is discharged. A nozzle cover body covers the upper portion of the nozzle housing body. In the nozzle cover body, a plurality of cover plates are stacked with a height difference and at a distance. According to the present invention, a sacred fire can be prevented from dying from heavy rain, heavy snow, or strong wind, and thus the sacred fire can be carried with stability.
