摘要

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a catalyst composition for a fuel cell anode, and a catalyst composition for a fuel cell anode manufactured by the same. More specifically, the present invention is provided to form a carbon containing polymer layer on a surface of a metal catalyst in a carbon supported metal catalyst, perform carbonization treatment with the same at high temperatures, and convert the same into a carbon layer, thereby preventing oxygen from being diffused into a catalyst composite to suppress an oxidation-reduction reaction of the catalyst, preventing high voltage applied to a cathode electrode by applying the same to an anode electrode, alleviating deterioration of the electrode, and improving durability of the electrode.
