The present invention relates to a method of driving a multi-touch display for a plurality of users and a multi-touch display performing the method. The method of driving a multi-touch display includes a step in which a multi-touch display system receives, through a touch panel, a plurality of touch-based input information on overlapping time resources and a step in which the multi-touch display system outputs, onto the touch panel, each of a plurality of output information individually depending on the plurality of input information on the overlapping time resources. The multi-touch display system can be operated in a standby mode or a use mode depending on the plurality of input information.
