Disclosed are an intra-prediction method considering redundancy of prediction blocks, and an image decoding apparatus for performing an intra-prediction. The intra-prediction method considering redundancy of prediction blocks, performed in the image decoding apparatus, comprises the steps of: determining a reference possibility of a plurality of neighboring blocks adjacent to a current block; configuring reference pixels belonging to the plurality of neighboring blocks on the basis of the determined reference possibility; and generating a prediction block for the current block by performing an intra-prediction in accordance with an intra-prediction mode by referring to the reference pixels.
