The present invention provides polypeptides for hepatitis B virus X protein and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. These polypeptides contain D-amino acids and can inhibit DNA replication of hepatitis B virus and the expression of related antigens and further inhibit hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver cancer induced by infection of hepatitis B virus .
