Disclosed are a method for recognizing a cube pattern, a computer readable recording medium recorded with a program therefor, and a cube pattern recognition system. The method is capable of accurately recognizing a pattern and a location formed on a surface of a cube in a terminal device. The disclosed method for recognizing a cube pattern, as a method for recognizing a pattern of a cube located in front of a terminal device in a terminal device, comprises the steps of: converting an image including a pattern of a cube into a color model format including a plurality of channels; separating any one channel from the image converted into the color model format; extracting a histogram of the separated channel; analyzing the data of the histogram to recognize the most frequent value; determining a distribution range for a color corresponding to the most frequent value on the basis of the most frequent value; and binarizing the image of the determined distribution range and performing pattern matching on the basis of the binarized image.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
