According to various embodiments of the present invention, a method for automatically converting a topography DB for a combat command training model based on military map data comprises: a step of reading standard topography data storing topography information, automatically classifying the same depending on a necessary attribute in a training model, and extracting the same depending on a detailed attribute; a step of parsing the standard topography data depending on a predetermined model attribute table; and a step of storing the topography information extracted in the parsing step. The present invention can create a topography DB which is mounted for each model based on the extracted topography information. According to various embodiments of the present invention, the method for automatically converting a topography DB for a combat command training model based on military map data further comprises a function of showing the extracted topography information by a vector map, a raster map, or DEM, and controlling transparency of the map to overlap the information.
