A reel registration method of the present invention displays at least one piece of barcode information read through a barcode reader unit on a display unit, selects barcode information including component identification information (P/N) from the barcode information, generates tag identification information corresponding to the selected barcode information, generates initial winding size information by measuring a winding size of a carrier tape wound on a reel through a measuring unit, and stores the generated tag identification information, the at least one piece of read barcode information, and the generated initial winding size information as registration information of the reel.
