The present invention relates to a real time opinion analysis system for a document and a method thereof, capable of generating an opinion analysis result of an object by dividing at least one document including comments on the object. The present invention includes a memory in which a real-time opinion analysis program is stored, a database in which one or more indexed segments are stored, and a processor for executing the program. The processor divides one or more documents for an object into semantic units in real time to extract one or more words. Among extracted words, a word whose morpheme is one of a complement and an adjective is selected as an emotional word. Then, a word that receives the expression of the selected emotional word is extracted as an element, at least one segment is generated based on the extracted element and emotional words for the element, and indexing is performed on the generated segment. The indexed segments are stored in the database, and the opinion analysis result for the object is generated based on one or more segments for the object stored in the database.
