FACE RECOGNITION METHOD USING CNN AND STEREO IMAGE

The present invention relates to a face recognition method using a convolutional neural network (CNN) and a stereo image, including the following steps: capturing left and right images of a face using two cameras; extracting only the face region using a Haar-like feature from the two images which are captured; changing the extracted face regions of the two images to the same size; combining the two images with the same size into one image; and performing learning and recognizing using the CNN. Accordingly, the present invention can improve the accuracy of face recognition.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
