The present invention relates to a method for predicting responsiveness and prognosis to chemotherapy in a patient with triple-negative breast cancer using nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group d, member 1 (NR1D1), and it was found that chemotherapy prognosis is good in patients with high NR1D1 expression, and in patients with the triple-negative breast cancer, the degree of expression of NR1D1 can be confirmed to predict the response and prognosis of the chemotherapy. Therefore, by measuring the expression level of NR1D1 in the triple-negative breast cancer patient and controlling the dosage of the anticancer drug depending on the degree of expression thereof, side effects of the chemotherapy can be reduced, and it is anticipated that it will be possible to develop a patient-oriented anticancer treatment strategy which has higher efficacy than existing anticancer therapy.
