The present invention relates to a seismic steel frame with a slit damper, capable of effectively preventing buckling of the steel frame by lateral force, and a seismic method using the same. According to the present invention, the seismic steel frame installed in an opening part, such as a window/door of a rebar concrete structure comprises: an upper frame part (110) arranged in a horizontal direction; a lower frame part (120) spaced apart from the upper frame part (110) to be arranged on the lower part of the upper frame part (110) in parallel; a pair of vertical frame parts (130) to connect both side end parts of the upper and lower frame parts (110, 120); and a pair of slit steel plates (210), which are a flat-shaped member mounted on each corner portion formed with the lower and vertical parts (120, 130), connecting one side sectional part to the lower part of the vertical frame part (130), connecting the other side sectional part to the left or right end part of the lower frame part (120), and having a plurality of slit holes (11) formed in a vertical direction.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
