Disclosed is a method for analyzing motion of an underwater target. The method for analyzing motion of an underwater target comprise the steps of: a first signal receiving step that a line array sonar is towed along a first movement path and receives a signal generated in an underwater target; a second signal receiving step that the line array sonar is towed along a second movement path in a direction different from the first movement path and receives the signal generated in the underwater target; and a target motion analysis step of analyzing the motion of the underwater target from the signal received in the linear array sonar.
