The present invention relates to an ultra-high definition (UHD) video stitching method and a device thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for stitching a video and a device thereof, which track, remove and match overlapping parts in a plurality of 4K UHD videos, thereby generating a UHD video having a wider viewing angle, for example, two 4K UHD videos or a 8K UHD video. The video stitching device comprises a memory storing a video captured from a plurality of cameras; a multiplexer selectively outputting the video stored in the memory; and a stitching control part controlling to generate a stitched video by selectively outputting the video stored in the memory.
