The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a silver nanowire with an ultrafine structure by using high-pressure hydrothermal synthesis and, more particularly, to a method for manufacturing a silver nanowire by inputting an aqueous solution containing an ionic liquid, a reducing agent, a capping agent and Ag salt and varying temperature and pressure. Therefore, the Ag nanowire with an ultrafine structure has a diameter distribution of 20 nm or less and an aspect ratio of 500 or more, thereby improving optical and electrical characteristics.
