OBESITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING PROGNOSIS OF OBESITY TREATMENT BY ANALYZING IRIS PATTERN

The present invention is to provide an obesity management system and method capable of predicting prognostic of obesity treatment by analyzing an iris pattern. The obesity management system comprises: an iris image photographing unit which photographs an iris area of a patient and provides an iris image; a database unit which sets and stores analysis standards of an iris index; a first processing unit which analyzes an iris combination tissue from the iris image and classifies an obesity constitution of the patient; and a second processing unit which calculates a temperament index and a personality index of the patient. In addition, the second processing unit comprises: an iris index determining unit which determines one or more iris indices according to the analysis standards based on iris information acquired from the iris image; and a temperament and personality index calculating unit which calculates at least one among one or more temperament indices and one or more personality indices of the patient, respectively by conducting decision tree calculation on the determined one or more iris indices. In addition, the one or more temperament indices include at least one among novelty seeking (NS), harm avoidance (HA), persistence (P), and reward dependence (RD) while the one or more personality indices include at least one among self-directedness (SD), cooperativeness (C), and self-transcendence (ST). Therefore, the obesity management system and method can provide individualized and optimized obesity treatment for individual obesity patients by predicting prognostic of obesity treatment.
