The present invention relates to an HVAC system in consideration of user utility and energy costs and a system having the same. The HVAC system includes HVAC, which comprises: a smart household appliance wired or wirelessly connected to HVAC; a communications unit receiving power costs from a power supplier and receiving power usage amounts used in the smart appliance; an interface unit receiving an operation weight with respect to the smart appliance from a user; and a control unit controlling the smart appliance to enable the same to be operated only when a previously input user utility value related to the operation weight and the power usage amounts is higher than energy costs calculated by using the power costs and the power usage amounts.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
