The present invention relates to a water floating type solar power generation system. The water floating type solar power generation system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a floating structure installed on the water and receiving a plurality of solar power generation modules on a top end thereof, one or more distance measuring sensors attached to one side of the floating structure and measuring a distance between the floating structure and a water surface, one or more length-controllable robot arms whose one end is connected to one side of the floating structure and the other end is connected to a buoyancy body, and a control unit for controlling the length of the robot arm according to the distance between the floating structure and the water surface measured by the distance measuring sensor. Accordingly, the present invention can save component replacement and repair costs and prevent the reduction of generation efficiency.
