The present invention relates to a water permeable trench and a water permeable pavement block pavement method using the same. According to the present invention, the water permeable trench that can be easily repaired and maintained is installed in a sidewalk block, and then rainwater can be absorbed into the ground and flood damage can be prevented. In addition, the water permeable trench can be continuously used based on easy repair and maintenance. The water permeable trench according to the present invention includes a body portion provided on one side of a block, provided as a hexahedron that is open upwards, and having a water permeation port having a bottom surface having a plurality of through holes so that water can be discharged downwards and a plate-shaped upper cover portion capable of covering the upper surface of the body portion and having a water inlet having a plurality of through holes. With the water permeable trench and the water permeable pavement block pavement method using the same according to the present invention, water permeation efficiency can be enhanced for ground absorption of rainwater or the like, clogging of permeation holes attributable to foreign matter can be minimized, inner cleaning, repair, and management can be facilitated based on easy upper cap separation and coupling, road flooding can be mitigated based on easy rainwater permeation, urban heat island phenomena can be mitigated based on ground rainwater permeation, underground water can be secured, and water supply to street trees can be replaced.
