VOLTAGE CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FUELCELL

Introduced are a fuel cell voltage control method and a system thereof capable of ensuring durability and performance of individual cells of a fuel cell stack. The fuel cell voltage control method comprises the steps of: determining whether a fuel cell is in a high voltage avoiding mode of the fuel cell; controlling a fuel cell stack voltage to be equal to or less than a preset reference value when the high voltage avoiding mode of the fuel cell is applied; monitoring an individual cell voltage of the fuel cell and determining whether the maximum value of the monitored individual cell voltage exceeds a preset individual value; decreasing a reference value of the fuel cell stack voltage when the maximum value of the monitored individual cell voltage exceeds an individual value; and controlling the fuel cell stack voltage to be less than or equal to the reduced reference value.
