The present invention relates to Burkholderia ambifaria CJ4 having antibacterial functions against pathogen causing root rot in ginseng, and a use thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a microbial preparation for controlling pathogen causing root rot in ginseng, and a method for controlling pathogen causing root rot in ginseng using the microbial agent. The Burkholderia ambifaria CJ4 has excellent antibacterial functions against pathogen causing root rot in ginseng as compared with microorganisms having antibacterial functions against other pathogen causing root rot in ginseng, while showing high antibacterial activities against various pathogen causing root rot in ginseng, thereby enabling production of the Burkholderia ambifaria strain, a culture solution of the strain, a microbial preparation for controlling pathogen causing root rot in ginseng containing a mixture thereof as an active ingredient, and a method for controlling pathogen causing root rot in ginseng using the microbial preparation.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
