NEW STRAWBERRY VARIETY BERRY QUEEN, AND BREEDING METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a new strawberry variety called Berry queen and a breeding method thereof. The Berry queen is obtained by cross-fertilizing Seolhyang as a mater variety and Maehyang as a paternal variety. Fruits thereof have a shape of a long cone and ensure higher solid-acid ratio compared to Seolhyang as the mater variety and Maehyang as the paternal variety. In addition, the Berry queen is also suitable for forcing cultivation due to rapid flowering time and harvesting time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
