Disclosed is a system for transmitting weather information and advertisement information in real time in a vehicle navigation system, capable of reducing a load of a weather information server and reducing data traffic of a vehicle navigation terminal. The system for transmitting real-time weather information and advertisement information includes: a vehicle navigation terminal including a navigation application to enable wireless mobile communication and provide the weather information to a driver; a weather information reception terminal for receiving the real-time weather information; a weather information server for receiving the weather information from the weather information reception terminal, receiving a weather information transmission request message from the navigation terminal, and transmitting updated weather information to the navigation terminal; and an advertisement server for receiving weather information of a specific region from the weather information server, selecting advertisement information for a product corresponding to the received weather information, and transmitting a result of the selection to the weather information server, wherein the weather information server transmits the received advertisement information to the navigation terminal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
