The present invention relates to a hybrid heating system including a heat exchange tank using waste heat, capable of improving thermal efficiency, and a heating method using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the hybrid heating system including a heat exchange tank using waste heat comprises a heat pump and the heat exchange tank. The heat pump comprises: a compressor to convert a refrigerant gas into a high temperature and high pressure state; a four-way valve to change the direction of the refrigerant gas passing through the compressor; a condenser which is a first heat exchanger of a cell and tube type, liquefying the refrigerant gas through heat exchange reaction between the refrigerant gas passing through the four-way valve and waste heat of an air conditioner or a refrigerator, and receiving the refrigerant gas from a tube area and receiving reaction water from a cell area to receive heat from liquefaction of the refrigerant gas and a waste heat supply source so as to be heated; an expansion valve to throttle the refrigerant liquefied while passing through the condenser; and an evaporator which is a second heat exchanger to evaporate the refrigerant passing through the expansion valve. The heat exchange tank comprises: an inlet to supply the reaction water heated by the heat exchange reaction through the first heat exchanger, which receives the waste heat in the heat pump; a baffle alternately disposed in a zigzag shape to allow the reaction water passing through the inlet to maintain a vortex flow and including a through-hole; a heater rod to penetrate the through-hole formed in the baffle; a power connection means to supply power to the heater rod; and a process fluid flow path heated by resistance through the power connection means to increase the temperature of the reaction water.
