The present invention relates to a slurry composition for preparing an electrode of a redox flow battery which contains carbon compound powder, a binder resin containing a predetermined polymer having at least one negative ion exchange functional group substituted therein, and a hydrophobic organic solvent; a preparation method for an electrode of a redox flow battery using the slurry composition; a carbon-based electrode including a dried product of the slurry composition for an electrode of a redox flow battery; and a redox flow battery including the same. The slurry composition of the present invention can prevent the deterioration of the performance of a battery even during long-term operation, thereby increasing the lifetime of the battery; and can improve the uniform thickness and physical properties of an electrode layer.
