Diagnostic kits for beneficial vital health biomarkers are described. The kit includes a first detection zone where a D-lactic acid detection signal can be generated and the presence or amount of D-lactic acid can be determined from the D-lactic acid detection signal. The kit further comprises a second detection zone where a hydrogen peroxide detection signal can be generated and the presence or amount of hydrogen peroxide can be determined from the hydrogen peroxide detection signal.
