The present invention relates to bioadhesives which can be effectively used for treatment of wounds with its less toxicity content, easily controlled binding force and flexibility with respect to adherence, and less likelihood of infection by an effect of inhibiting the growth of microorganisms or viruses; and a method for preparing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polygallic acid polymer having a gallamide branch as a repeating unit and represented by chemical formula 1; a method for preparing the same; and a bioadhesive composition containing the polygallic acid polymer and cyanoacrylate. In chemical formula 1, n is an integer ranging from 2 to 1,000, and m is an integer ranging from 1 to 7.
