The present invention discloses a low power-based antitheft device capable of efficiently managing a battery by adjusting an operation state of the antitheft device according to a predetermined condition, and a low power-based antitheft system. According to embodiments of the present invention, the low power-based antitheft device capable of being attached and detached to a target product comprises: a vibration sensor sensing movement of the antitheft device; a current switch sensing a state that the antitheft device is separated from the target product; a communication part transmitting a signal generated from the antitheft device to a server through a repeater; and a control part transmitting a first event signal generated as the movement of the antitheft device is sensed to the repeater, transmitting a second event signal different from the first event signal to the repeater when the predetermined condition satisfies, and controlling the antitheft device to be a sleep state before the signal is generated through the vibration sensor or the current switch.
