The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for managing the grain size of sintered fuel, wherein the apparatus of the present invention includes; a crushed rate measuring unit for measuring a crushed rate of the sintered fuel discharged from a particle size separator of a sintered fuel crushing apparatus; a rod loading unit for loading a rod into a rod mill of the sintered fuel crushing apparatus; and a control unit for controlling the particle size of the sintered fuel by adjusting the number and diameter of rods loaded into the rod mill through the rod loading unit based on the crushed rate measured by the crushed rate measuring unit. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided are an apparatus and a method for managing the grain size of sintered fuel by controlling the crushing condition of the sintered fuel stepwise according to the crushed rate.
