The present invention provides a voltage sag compensator having a monitoring function of a supercapacitor capable of significantly improving reliability. The voltage sag compensator supplies an alternating current power to a load by controlling an inverter (115) by a control part (113) when an external power is an abnormal state. A DC link (116) composed of a capacitor is formed of a supercapacitor (220) in the voltage sag compensator. The DC link (116) is typically formed of several supercapacitor banks. The supercapacitor is monitored through a supercapacitor monitoring part (210), and a monitored result is provided to the control part (113). A replacement time of the supercapacitor or the supercapacitor bank can be displayed through a display part (230) of the control part.
