An embodiment of the present invention provides a catalyst composition represented by the chemical formula 1: Fe_a:Co_b:M1_x:M2_y. In the chemical formula 1, Fe and Co are iron, cobalt, oxides or derivatives thereof as catalyst components, M1, and M2, as different kinds of active ingredients, are Ni, Ti, Mn, Sn, Mo, Zr, W, oxides or derivatives thereof, respectively, a, b, x, and y each represent mol% of Fe, Co, M1, and M2, respectively, and 3.0=x+y=3.5. An object of the present invention is to provide the catalyst composition capable of synthesizing high purity carbon nanotube without a separate purification process, a manufacturing method thereof and carbon nanotube agglomerates including the same.
