The present invention relates to a method for producing a core-shell catalyst, and an apparatus for producing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing a core-shell catalyst, including a step of irradiating a laser light source onto a solution containing a metal ingot and a platinum precursor, so as to produce metal nanoparticles and reduce the platinum precursor on the surface of the metal nanoparticles, thereby forming a platinum-coated core-shell-type particle. According to the present invention, it is possible to easily form a shell layer having uniform thickness while continuously supplying core particles with even size. In addition, due to simple processes and a short reaction time, mass-production becomes possible. The present invention further relates to a production apparatus thereof.
