The present invention relates to a method for evaluating rock cleavage using distribution features of three segments derived from a length-cumulative frequency graph of microcracks. The present invention comprises: a rock block collect step for collecting a square rock block from granite; a rock block surface cutting step for cutting a surface of the rock block in parallel with three different cleavage planes; a rock block division step for dividing the rock block into a plurality of square rock samples; a thin section manufacturing step for manufacturing thin sections which are in parallel with each of three planes of the rock samples; a measurement step for measuring the microcracks with respect to the six directions after collecting population of the microcracks formed in the six directions crossing each other on the three planes of each of the thin sections; and a cleavage strength evaluation step for evaluating relative strength of the three cleavages using the distribution features of the segments derived from the length-cumulative frequency graph of microcracks with respect to the measured six directions.
