The present invention relates to a guide post for a high speed press mold. The guide post is provided in a press including an upper mold die and a lower mold die to guide a pressing path between the upper mold die and the lower mold die during a press process. According to the present invention, the guide post for a high speed pressing mold comprises: an upper bushing mounted on the upper mod die; a lower bushing mounted on the lower mold die and having an inner circumferential groove formed in a central axis direction on the inner circumferential surface thereof; and a guide rod combined with the upper bushing and the lower bushing and vertically moving. The guide rod comprises: an upper bushing insertion part coupled to an inner side of the upper bushing to vertically move, and having a ball retainer coupled to the outer circumferential surface thereof to reduce friction with the inner circumferential surface of the upper bushing; a lower bushing insertion part coupled to an inner side of the lower bushing to vertically move and having a plurality of outer circumferential grooves for inducing a flow of oil on the outer circumferential surface thereof; and a flange formed to expand an outer diameter thereof between the upper bushing insertion part and the lower bushing insertion part to limit a maximum coupling length of the upper bushing and the lower bushing. The guide rod also comprises: an inlet formed in a hole shape penetrating in the center axis direction of the upper bushing insertion part and the lower bushing insertion part; and a supply hole formed to be radially penetrated from the inlet.
