The present invention relates to a hospital drug management system through an automation device. More specifically, the hospital drug management system comprises: a storage unit for storing hospital drugs; an insertion/extraction unit for inserting or extracting the hospital drugs to or from the storage unit; a transfer unit for transferring the hospital drugs between the storage unit and the insertion/extraction unit; an authentication unit for authenticating whether a manager has an access right for the hospital drugs; an input unit for inputting, by the manager authenticated by the authentication unit, the type and the quantity of drugs by prescription information; and a control unit for controlling to drive the insertion/extraction unit and the transfer unit to insert and extract the type and the quantity of the drugs input by the input unit. Therefore, an accident related to the hospital drugs can be prevented by managing a stock and a state of the overall amount of usage of the hospital drugs.
