The composition of the nanoparticles is stabilized by a capping agent consisting of a hydrophobic and hydrophilic moiety and a methacrylic acid and a n-butyl methacrylate random copolymer having a low molecular weight. The nanoparticle composition has low viscosity, high nanoparticle loading, and can be selectively applied to the substrate by methods such as ink jet, aerosol and electrospinning.
