Disclosed are a device to calculate newspaper a readership per a newspaper company and a method thereof. The method includes: a step of measuring a first newspaper readership of mobile Internet news of a representative portal website selected from among many portal websites; a step of estimating a second newspaper readership of all mobile Internet news by applying a portal weighted value and a mobile weighted value to the measured first newspaper readership; a step of estimating a third newspaper readership of PC internet news by multiplying the estimated second newspaper readership by a PC weighted value; a step of estimating a fourth newspaper readership of online news by adding up the second newspaper readership and the third newspaper readership; and a step of estimating a fifth newspaper readership of all online and offline news by using the fourth newspaper readership and a paper newspaper readership obtained through surveys.
