The present invention relates to a lamp and a method of manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to a lamp and a method of manufacturing the same, in which the lamp is manufactured by using a calico cloth and an askin waterproof cloth so that the lamp has superior durability and can uniformly transmit light from the inside of the lamp, and a clear and detailed expression is possible. The lamp according to the present invention includes: a skeleton frame forming an overall skeleton of an object; a light emitting portion provided inside the skeleton frame; and a cover portion attached to an outside of the skeleton frame to express an overall shape of the object. The cover portion may include: a white calico cloth; a first white adhesive layer applied to an inside of the calico cloth; a second white adhesive layer applied to an outer side of the calico cloth; and a waterproof cloth attached to an outer side of the second adhesive layer. A method of manufacturing the lamp according to the present invention includes the steps of: fabricating a skeleton frame; applying a first adhesive layer to one side of the calico cloth and attaching the calico cloth to the outer side of the skeleton frame; drying the calico cloth; applying a second adhesive layer to the other surface of the calico cloth; and attaching a waterproof cloth to an upper portion of the second adhesive layer.
