Treatment Apparatus of FGD Wastewater by using Vacuum Evaporation and Method Thereof

The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating desulfurization wastewater by using vacuum evaporation and a method thereof. The apparatus can treat the wastewater generated in a flue gas desulfurization (FGD) facility which is for removing the sulfur oxides in environmental pollutants included in exhaust gas of a boiler used in a thermal power plant using fossil fuels. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the desulfurization wastewater treatment apparatus includes: a wastewater storage tank; a vacuum evaporator; a condenser; a vacuum pump; a primary filter; a gypsum storage tank; a reaction tank; a secondary filter; and a dryer. The desulfurization wastewater treatment apparatus can significantly reduce the amount of solid waste generated in the final stage.
