The present invention relates to a method for estimating the frequency of the human motion. The method for estimating the frequency of the human motion includes the steps of: calculating the locations of individual joints by coordinate data (x, y, z) in the time domain; converting the coordinate data of the individual joints in the time domain into data in the frequency domain and calculating the magnitude thereof; selecting the coordinate data of the individual joints with the greatest magnitude; selecting first frequencies, which are the frequencies of the coordinate data with the greatest magnitude, for the individual joints; and selecting a second frequency which is the fastest frequency in the first frequencies.
